Saturday, November 24, 2012 – Cocoa:
Unfortunately, not much to report today!  Sunny, cool, and a bit breezy upon waking up, but all in all a pretty nice day weatherwise.  Made a great breakfast of sausage and scrambled eggs, and Bob’s favorite pastry from Publix.  Fortunately, it survived the crash!
Once again, for some unknown reason, I didn’t sleep too well, so I was pretty tired and didn’t have any energy for most of the day.  That doesn’t mean we didn’t do some projects, however, but nothing too strenuous.  I think I may have a clue why I don’t sleep sometimes, and I think it has to do with the consumption of chocolate, and that’s all I’ll say about that!  One positive thing about not sleeping was that I got to listen to the trains that seemed to run every hour on the hour all night long.  As you know, I enjoy listening to them, but it didn’t lull me to sleep like I hoped.
The cat got a little braver today, and sat outside on the deck in the sun for awhile before seeing some people very far away and making a beeline for her “hiding spot.”
There is a great old-time hardware store in town right across the street, and after lunch, Bob and I walked over there intending to have a fun time exploring the store – but it was closed until Monday.  We peeked in the windows and saw things like an old wagon wheel, clocks, tools lying around helter skelter, and other stuff.  It looked like a true antique hardware store, so we’ll put it on our to do list for Monday.
We were hoping to get mail today, but it looks like there is no Saturday delivery here.  Oh well…
We watched other boats come and go, and, thankfully, no one had any problems.
We played cards, straightened up, fiddled around on the computer, and read.
We discovered that we will have to have one of our heads repaired – and you can make of that anything you want!
…and basically, that was our day…basically, boring to most people…but like I have said before, boring is good!
