Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, alright?! So I made a misprint – you were supposed to set the clocks up an hour, not back, like I wrote.  It appears that I have a lot of editors, but all after the fact – even my proofreader missed it! (Although I may have typed it after it had been proofread…)  Anyway, I said that that stupid bike seat scrambled my brain.  I also bet no one missed anything important because I wrote the time wrong!  So there!

Sunday, March 10, 2013 – Vero Beach:
Well, I slept awful last night, and I think it was because of that chocolate with chili that I ate a piece of around 8:00 p.m.  It was delicious, even Bob liked it, and he doesn’t like anything that has the word chili in it.  You don’t know you’ve eaten anything with chili in it until a few minutes later, and even then, it’s just deliciously subtle.  And of course I realized after I hit the “publish” button on the blog that I had inadvertently done the time backwards, so that really made me lay awake all night long worrying that someone would miss something, and it would be all my fault!
I had some intentions of sleeping in because with the time change it is just a little darker in the morning and conducive to hitting the snooze button (which would be the cat), but several boats were in the process of leaving around 8:00 (even though my body thought it was still 7:00 a.m.).  They made enough noise with last minute chatting and saying good-byes, and untying boats, and people yelling things like, “back-up now,” “slower,” “faster,” “forward,” etc., that Davy Jones would have woken up.
Since we were both tired we decided to have an easy day, but that translated into washing the outside of the boat, and cleaning the inside, but at least I feel like we accomplished something, and we were not total slugs.  When you are outside in a situation like this, you are often engaged in a conversation with one boat neighbor or other, and that was certainly the case today.  Bob met an interesting boater who was instrumental in one of the space programs.  I didn’t get to talk to him, but I would have liked his opinion on the lack of our space program now.
We invited the couple who are moored here in the marina and who we keep running into up and down the waterway over for cocktails and h’or d’oeuvres at 5:00 p.m., so I am writing a short “blog” today.  Besides I don’t think anything exciting is going to happen in the next couple of hours.
Well, it’s 4:15 p.m. eastern standard daylight saving, mountain pacific time here, and that translates into, “It’s five o’clock somewhere,” so I am going to have a glass of wine.  Hope you all set your clocks correctly!
            Later…
